2020 Participation - Equity Program
Some people require additional support to help them access training and the Department has a strategy in place to assist them – the Participation - Equity Program. Registered training organisations who are approved to deliver courses within this program may offer additional support such as mentoring, counselling, assistance with meals, transport, child care, language and literacy to the following student groups; Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island School Students (ASBT), Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, youth at risk and culturally and linguistically diverse.

We have invited selected Government and community organisations, which assist people in a range of life or work issues, to be brokers to help us promote this training. A referral from a Participation referral agency will assist students in getting access to additional support. Students can self-nominate if they meet the eligibility requirements.

See http://www.dtwd.wa.gov.au/training-providers-and-schools/vet-jswa#participation-program for additional information on student groups and eligibility requirements.

The enrolment category listed indicates what fees need to be charged to the student as defined in the Department’s Fees and Charges policy. Go to
http://www.dtwd.wa.gov.au/about-us#vet-fees-and-charges-policy for information on the current year's Fees and Charges.
